Let’s take a walk through Minute Man National Historic Park!
This park provides a window to the world of the Revolutionary War. Located in Concord, Massachusetts, the Minute Man park is named for the militia that could be called on a minute’s notice.
David Brown was one such man. He was a 47-year-old captain of one of Concord’s own minute man companies, but in daily life Brown was a farmer and a Concord selectman, a descendant of English settlers in Massachusetts.
Brown and his men marched through his fields to the North Bridge. Below, the stone marker that denotes his house and his original foundation with fence.
